here's an interesting character i saw at the post office today. he was trying to send something first class but didn't know if he had enough stamps on the package. every sentence he said started with "um". he was a kid but had the voice of a 60 year-old chain-smoking lady:

Work highlight of yesterday- I've finally been promoted to department manager! the most exciting thing about it for me right now is the fact that I'll get to work from 7am- 4pm, Monday through Friday, like a normal person! The 90 cent raise is pretty sweet, too, I suppose.
