I don't get why they keep giving this hack money? I've seen the first two Pirates movies, and they were both extremely underwhelming.

Then I watched The Weather Man the other day, and it's just another fucking "numb American" story with a couple of pretty images.

Mouse Hunt was OK though, I guess.

Weather Man had a few good parts, but yes, it was largely crap.

I remember liking The Mexican.

Haven't seen it. Only saw the first Japanese one. I didn't think that much that I'd want to watch a remake or a sequel.

The Ring remake is actually better than the original. That said, its nothing to write home about.

I really enjoyed the first pirate film. I was heavy into pirates as a kid, and this film brought back feelings and memories.

The second one was okay.

And to answer your question; they keep giving him money because his films makes money. At least the ones with Johnny Depp.

Naomi Watts is great in it, and I don't remember the creepy shit with the horse from the original.

It's worth seeing if you haven't.

Yeah, the horse scene on the boat was creepy. It wasnt in the original. The original boat scene was awful. Horrible fake waves..

I hated the american sequel where they tried to do a similar horse thing, only with deers...
