Re: highlight of your day?
fixed the circuit breaker from blowing on our AC unit .
long story shot , birds showed up , made a nest in the AC , i let em do it cause our security cam is right there (thats how they got in) and they were so cute . eventually the nest blew out the circuit breaker . power washed the ac unit , blocked of the bird entrance / chase birds away like the village idiot . then the breaker was blowing again . power washed the ac . worked for a month , then ... replaced the outlet .
so i called Fat Mike , the mexican sweat hog , rich ass lying lazy bastard landlord guy who fucks puerto rican transvestite prostitutes , even though he is married to a crazy rich bitch who calls him on his cell every ten minutes . he also is a "handyman" , which is slang for greedy scheming , lying , manipulative , self centered , money grubbing filth pig that lies and takes advantage of everyone he works for .
fat mike went in the breaker box , gave me a lecture about how i should be getting paid from my landlord , which i explained to him for the 20th time , then my landlord raises MY rent ... so he poked around and then gave me another nonsensical speal , his eyes start darting back and forth , which means he is lying or scheming , i figured it was a bad sign . he left and the problem still existed .
power washed the ac again , it worked fine , for a month . today it was blowing the breaker , again .
so i go in the breaker box , i am shitting bricks , cause i am TERRIFIED of electricity , i take the shit apart and find the wire for the AC breaker is all frayed and only 3 strands of it are making contact with the tie down . it is also all charred from arcing . this fucker took that wire out , i know he did cause i asked him to move it over one to the other 15 amp breaker . he reinstalled it all frayed knowing the problem .
so i fixed it , the air is running full blast for an hour . do i call fat mike and chew him out ?
hmmm , i hate burning bridges , he has given me some good advice.
what to do ...

yeah i hear ya buddy , we are gonna go to cantigny farm (cool place)for a picnic tommorow .
http://www.cantigny.org/gardens/history ... ssion.aspx
that should be a nice break , but i am gonna hustle when we get home . we are tryin to get al the gear / pedals done so we can hit the woods and jam . Deet (my lil one) "plays guitar" now .
we're puttin the band back together .
3/4 done with this crazy "self oscillating" fuzz . did a swirl paint job on it . boxing up tomorrow , along with the one that the paint job took 2 months .
2 new pedals in one day !
doing my first echo box maybe monday , cant wait , gonna make 3 .
we got a lot done this weekend , thanks to my wife and shrimpy has turned into a workin machine ! she has learned how to hustle since she has been workin a real job . i am so proud of my calvin .

Re: highlight of your day?
Built a 4 stage High Gain distortion pedal today . it uses a cmoss chip ( for 3 stages ) , a jfet front end , for "tube like" response ( ha ) , and a radio shack ic chip pcb . super easy build cause of the board .
the kids did a swirl paint job on the chassis .
it doesn't have a tone knob , but its for my kid Deet , so i wanted to keep it simple . when i started playing everything was always dimed anyway .
what a super dirt circuit ! its got as much sizzle as a big muff on 90 % i got it to quiet down quite a bit with a switchable input capacitor ( 2 modes , hiss-high , and shhh-mellow ) . its actually a Craig Anderton design (he wrote the book , now the editor for harmony central ), that " way huge " stole for the "red llama" pedal , updated with this fancy jfet . jfets sound nice for guitar , once again , more tubey , ha .
i am just a lil nervous , until i get her rig all tweaked , ( i have to program the multi-effector she uses ) , i am gonna be a little unsure . i got some good tones outta that rig w/ a df7 , on th ebig muff and boss mt-2 settings so , its totally doable , even w/o a tone knob .
i picked this design cause of the "6 in 1" cmoss chip , less parts AND easier to build . if it was for me , i woulda went w/ a dr boogie or something like a suhr riot .
in other news , the FTM clone i made has a fantastic fuzz tone ... not the octave , just the germanium fuzz its just silly sweet . i ran it thru this shit amp (pc sub i modded w/ a hanna montanna echo circuit and a jfet front end ) , OMGN ! true love . thats one of the reasons i got it , the french toast fuzz uses silicon clippers , yuck .
