personally i never liked them... i found their music sounded like a joke. they were recommended to me by strangers because I liked mr bungle but mr bungle was one of a kind to me. they could play around and be funny, but the music never felt like a joke.
DFD are weird for the sake of being weird perhaps... i recall feeling that the music had no substance to it.
anyone else like them? did i miss the boat? now i'm wondering if i should give them another chance now that i'm 32
i've tried (unsuckcessfully) to get into those guys. it just doen't happen. i cant put a loaded glock to my temple, put my finger on the trigger(s), and start to pull the trigger(s) to make myself like DFD. to me it's just a piss-poor bungle wripoff. i think this may not be the best place to find fans of DFD, we all here have the real thing instead. the good news is i've found a new, hi-fiber cereal with very little sugar that i like and that agrees with my digestive tract. white duct tape is he best. black is the second best. that's the first time i'll ever put white above black or vice versa
Do you ever try to pee the dookie off the inside of the toilet bowl?

I am giving them a go... don't know how far they will "go" with me. Thought I'd gather some opinion.
I think my enjoyment with these baby bungles begins and ends with tub ring's drake equation.
I have bent both ears toward quite a few/most of these "heavily influenced" outfits and this seems to
be the one that sticks with me. I guess seeing them live didn't hurt either. unless you consider the fact
that I don't care for any of their other records. so much for happy endings huh?
yeah fuck a happy ending. the bad guy dies miserably, the good guy dies a little later.
his ashes are throw in the air at a memorial and the ashes blot out the sun and kill humanity.
the only thang we can do is get some sunshine on our faces.
thats my word

tub ring takes a lot of heat . saw em live 3 times , actually the first time i ever heard of em was at a show they played , so they won me over before i got a cd , and that was drake so , i guess i got lucky .
dfd , i saw a few seconds on YT a few times and got out while the gettins good .
the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.
on a related note, I was doing dishes listening to Q: are we not men yesterday
and I was reminded of some very devonian cut & paste drake moments. well... 1 in particular.

“We will be starting a kickstarter very soon to fund the new DFD endeavors. The kickstarter will have some interesting and fun options for newbies and die hard DFD fans. Your contributions will help us tour hopefully most of the major cities in the United States and also venture into Europe. If the monetary goals are met than we will have the means of touring the world with a full horn section. We are an independent operation and only move forward with our fan/friends support. Thank you everybody for believing in us and helping us to keep this Magical Band of Fools rockin until the grave!”
