Re: I hope I didn't misspell his name
easily their worst album to date
only a few notable tracks (make that one notable :: track 7 :: love that one)
soundtrack music for movies that dont exist? hmmm. i feel like i may have made one or four of those on the toilet this morning after hot wings last nite (habanero hot!)
still though it's worth owning. its good back-background music for the late-nite after-after-afterparty, only after playing "doin the butt" so loud you puncture the woofers of your mom's sears solid state
you know what i'd love to see, i that one photo with luiz & trey where he's posing with that album like it's a picture of his dead/beloved dog. i'd kill to see that one again.

Do you ever try to pee the dookie off the inside of the toilet bowl?

Re: I hope I didn't misspell his name
i did , i listened to it at least 20 times , outside on the patio , bbqin . highlight listen was when my kid acted out the entire film as it played .
one of the things that i enjoyed was how accurate the pieces are , considering what it is sposda be . it certainly sounds way less demonic than suspended animation . i have a soft spot for back ground music , but i will admit it has its place , great for "working" (not 9 to 5 type stuff , actually doing what you enjoy "creatively" ) , i have an mp3 player i use for that .
for "workin" some music just doesn't work at all , melvins , les claypool , melt banana , pink floyd (especially LIVE floyd , yuck ) . rather anything you would hear on Dr. Demento , truckin songs , "soundtrack type music" buckethead , adrian belew's "desire caught by the tail" = best work music ever , put that sucker on repeat and some compress time , you will be very , very productive .
thats what works for ME anyway , personally .
but what do i know , none of his other SC stuff has yet to click with me . i enjoyed a few cuts on satellite , but i prolly need to listen to it some more . certain types of music , it takes a while to hit me , so i kinda have been saving that band for a rainy day .

the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.

this sounds like it would make for a spectacular youtube video.
I think it would even bring a smile to the face of Troy Sprance.

Re: I hope I didn't misspell his name
since this pic keeps popping up, I have taken it upon myself to make a contest out of naming it.
- the boxcar hobo and the pinhead: who de we have to blow to find a circus around here!!!?
- a picture is worth a thousand words... especially a picture of assorted garbage.
- who left the door to the sheep barn open?
- ventriloquists seem like they are very lonely people.
- the wanker and the wombat: sympathy frolic picnic!
... I'll keep working on it.

but... what about while you are eating west virginia nachos (save-a-lot doritos meet melted kraft singles),
putting off taking a shower, and watching simon and simon reruns with the television on mute?
would it like... work in that particular situation?

This place needs a filter to block out any Shanghai-related pic.
