goddam right.
deadbolted in my top 3 influential players list.
the hound was like a forest fire that brought candy for the children.
guy had an extra finger on each hand, up until he removed one
with a straight razor. canadian club had a hold, I believe.
his slide was nothing more than a fragment from an old kitchen chair.
I would have done just about anything to witness the fury, especially
the cleveland gig where the club started burning down and hound dog
did not/would not stop playing.
fuck freddie king... this man wrote hideaway and got no credit for it whatsoever.

hooker's guitar tone/(obvious execution) on the early tracks
on that hooker & heat album is a few sons of sumbitches.
still one of the strongest stompers.
