the single's okay, the synth has too much of a 'coming up tonight on channel 5 news...' feel to it

80s revival continues.
It sounds like crap early Pet Shop Boys.

BBC
The scope and depth of Plastic Beach is staggering. For anyone frustrated that Blur never quite managed their White Album, look no further.
With perfect 5/5 reviews from Q, The Daily Telegraph and The Fly.

Pumped for that leak.

There is a leak out there which just loops the clips from the samples, it isn't a legit version.

Blur’s new song Fool’s Day recorded especially for Record Store Day has sold out on limited edition 7 inch vinyl record. Fool’s Day was available across the UK at independent music retailers participating in Record Store Day. 1000 7 inch vinyl copies were pressed.

Blur’s manager Chris Morrison has said it is important that the song was made available to fans legally. "To avoid fans having to illegally obtain an inferior copy of this track from pirate sites – we have made it freely available through the band’s website".

Recorded in London earlier this month, Fool’s Day is the first song 4 members of Blur have recorded together since Battery In Your Leg from the album Think Tank (2003).

Has the person who wrote that ever listened to the White Album?

I do love Blur. And I liked the first Gorillaz, and the G-sides, and some of the last one that I can't remember the name of right now. I made it halfway through this Gorillaz album before I switched it off and listened to some Graham Coxon. I'll give it another shot at some point, but I nothing latched on to my brain to make me see what the hype was all about.

I think it's better than Demon Days but no way near the self-titled, G-sides & Laika Come Home.

Gorillaz and the boss Dogg
Planet of the apes ...

Artistic value is close to zero, but it tends to cling to MP3-players as a catholic priest to Irish orphan school boys.
