Johnny Depp is tipped to play the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's new version of "Alice in Wonderland" for Disney Pictures reports Bang Media.
A re-imagining of the classic children's tale by Lewis Carroll, the project would mark the seventh time Johnny and Tim have worked together and is scheduled for release in 2010.

I miss the Tim Burton that had original ideas.
Seriously, "Corpse Bride" is the only original screenplay he's done in over ten years?!

its like if type o negative stopped writing songs and did covers for 10 years
