I've been reading a lot of comics lately. First time in years. The local library has a large collection of graphic novels and TPBs, so I've been spoiled for choice.
Churning through a lot of Warren Ellis' stuff, like Fell, Ocean, Newuniversal and
http://www.freakangels.com/
Also Absolute Sandman, The Complete Badger, Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina and a bunch of other stuff.
Anyone else? I'm not much into buying the ongoing monthlies this time around. It seems these days you can just wait six months and it'll come out in TPB.

I'm about to start some Sandman...
Graphic Novel-wise, i've only ever read The Colour Of Magic...
I need to read more, i'm constantly told...

Currently reading Umbrella Academy, Abe Sapien, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Gawd help me).

I read the Oldboy graphic novel that came with the movie.
The story went from right to left instead of left to right.
Took a while to get used to that.
That's the only one I own.

I've been thinking about revisiting some Slaine.
What's Umbrella Academy like? It's by the My Chemical Romance dude, isn't it? That has put me off it, but it's being read by people who know stuff from what I can gather.

It's not the same Warren Ellis, but you'd probably like some of this one's stuff too.

Slaine is awesome. The artwork in Books of Invasions is mindboggling. The crescendo of one of the storylines is particularly beautiful.
SPOILER
The evil Fomorian overlord Odacon has been bested in combat by Slaine (after instigating his wife Niamh's rape and murder) and lies languishing on some rocks at the bottom of a cliff. Being a sea-dwelling creature, he begs Slaine for mercy in the form of some life-giving seawater. So Slaine pisses on his head and leaves him for the gulls.

Yeah, the dude from MCR is involved in the writing. It's not bad at all, I have to say. Refreshingly unorthodox and none too serious.

Morning Glory also. Not quite a graphic novel, but hey, I dig the shock factor and the repeated motifs.

The actual graphic novel for "From Hell" is awesome

I haven't read that one, but short of Watchmen, Alan Moore bores me senseless.
I'm currently re-reading my old Hellboys. Mignola's art is stunning sometimes. Haven't got to the newer stuff where Fegredo is at the helm.

I've got one of those Hellboy Library Editions on it's way.
As for Moore, I opened V for Vendetta recently and didn't bother.
I recall liking the Killing Joke, and some Swamp Thing.
