I dont think it is. They say its about aliens.

I kind of liked the idea of another Godzilla movie. Sure the last one sucked, but if its done right, it could be great.

Yeah, me too. The FX budget is said to be $15 million. The FX bugdget for Pirates 3 was $150 million. This is of course unconfirmed rumours. But I know that the FX in LOST was done with a really low budget (plane crash scene, etc), and its the same creator, so....

Fun and well made, yet completely generic.

It's also the shakiest shaky-cam film ever.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I thought Godzilla 2000 (or whatever it was called) was very good- for a Godzilla movie. (maybe a subject for another thread. )If you looked at it as a Godzilla movie, and not some sort of hollywood blockbuster action flick... it was a pretty rockin' Godzilla movie.

Great while you're watching it, but the whole movie is one long "as if[\i] you'd do that!" sequence.

Falls apart at even the most rudimentary scrutiny.

That said though, yeah, the helicopter scene is great!
