Haven't read that I'm afraid. I got excited when I heard the title, but I decided to read "Being and Nothingness" instead, and well, after that I got badly into Nietzsche, so I haven't really checked out Sartre any further.

Did it do you any good, besides disgust you?

you need more?

Hamsun > Sartre

Have you read any Kierkegaard? Hella gloomy/uplifting. Same goes for EM Cioran.

Kierkegaard is on my "to-read" list. I agree with the Hamsun > Sartre verdict from what I've read of the two. Cioran I haven't even heard of, but I'll look him\her up.

Thanks aggro.

I'm reading Pessoa now. ;)

I don't think I'll get any more recomendations from you. We've got way too similar taste in books.
But, did you ever get to read Houellebecq's book on Lovecraft? It was pretty interesting, though a bit short.
