Cthulhu / Lovecraft

So.. anyone who wants to recomend something good in the spirit of Lovecraft? Either essays on Lovecraft, filmatic adaptions of his works or others who have wrote or filmed in the spirit of Lovecraft.
I´ve seen the rather new silent film Call of Cthulhu, which I can absolutely recomend. Also, the film "Dagon" was interesting enough to be seen, though it weren´t exactly "up there".
I´m going to see "Necronomicon" one of these days.

Houellebecq wrote a book on Lovecraft...haven't read it, but it's said to be good. Against Life or something.
In The Mouth Of Madness is a good movie, not sure how Lovecraftian it is tho.

In the mouth of madness is pretty cool, I agree. I´ve seen it a couple of times and it is Lovecraftian to the bone. It doesn´t include any of the Mythos, but even the title is in Lovecraft´s spirit.
That book by Houellebecq is on my "To read"-list, but I won´t have time for that untill summer. Too much reading these days anyway.
Has anyone seen "Re-Animator" ? It´s supposedly Lovecraftian, but it seems rather silly.
Also, I highly recomend that "Call of Cthulhu" movie for everyone, even those not familiar with Lovecraft.

I dig the whole Cthulhu mythos.
Aggro already mentioned the best Lovecraftian film. ITMOM is creepy as hell.
Re-Animator was supposed to be a bit tongue-in-cheek I thnk...
Read Mask of Cthulhu and Trail of Cthulhu, but in the reverse order of how I just typed them.
Uh, yeah.

I saw "Necronomicon" today. Shitty film. Do not watch it, even if you're a hardcore Lovecraft fan.

Started reading it today, and will probably finish it today too, or tomorrow. It's pretty darn interesting. Highly recommended for people into Lovecraft and\or Houellebecq.
