Your christmas favourite.

So guys, only one and a half month until christmas. What's your favourite food for christmas? Anything goes. Cakes, cookies, meats, vegetables, bewerages. Any opinions?

Mine is probably cooked cod with potatoes and rattatouile. Or a spicy honey cake. Dark, sweet, strong and spicy beer is also a must.

I enjoy peanut butter captain crunch and an eggnog hangover on Christmas day.

You have to get the real kind from the right people, or something.

There are too many steps.

I'm hoping that one of my coworkers will have a wife or a mother who'll make them for me. I think I am going to bring in some homemade cookies to help my chances.

They look good. I'll probably try them some day.

And what is this Egg Nog thing you drink over there? Liquer?

"I'm a drinker man. There's only one drink I don't like: eggnog. How did they think that up? 'I wanna get a little drunk but I also want some pancakes'? Do you know what eggnog really is? You're not gonna want to hear it, but I'll tell you: elf cum. That's what it is. You might as well pour it on your back and slap yourself on the ass." - Dave Attell

Eggnog is another reason I am grateful for glögg.

I am grateful that eggnog is blackballed here. Instead we have the equally abhorant mulled-wine. Why on earth would you choose to fuck up a perfectly good wine with cloves?

Glögg is essentially a mulled-wine concoction, served with raisins/sultanas and blanched almonds. Yum.

It's rather good. I find it a bit too sweet sometimes, but if made "correctly" with lots of spices it's very good. When you live in a place where there's often between 20 and 40 degrees minus (celsius) it's good to have a warm drink. Hey, this year I'll try Lovage and brandy. ;)

Judas, do you eat Lutefisk for christmas?
