Opens October 12 here, in case you're interested. It was screening at the festival earlier in the year, but so was heaps of other good stuff. Toni Collette being in it was a safe bet for a theatrical release in Oz, post-festival.

1-i want at least two reasons to see this.
1a-because i'm too lazy and fuck ass tired to search it out on the internet.
1b-because you people have said fuckall about the movie.

2-we should take another vote... about goaty there.

1ai - Steve Carell in a serious role
1aii - A "dysfunctional family" movie that makes you care about and hate the characters in equal amounts, and usually at the same time
1b - said dysfunctional family takes a road trip from alberquerque to california to put their daughter in a beauty pageant. It's plainly clear from the onset that this kid will not win a beauty pageant. If for no other reason, see how the directors pull off that stunt.

2 - I've learned to tune him out.
