2 eggs.
1 tsp of Garlic and herb sauce.
Salt and Pepper to taste.
1 slice granary bread (crusts removed).
Olive oil.
1 Spring/Salad onion.

Cut the salad onion diagonally.
Beat eggs, add to warm pan and add the salad onion - low heat keep storring.
As egg is about to set add the garlic and herb sauce and a spot of butter.

Toast bread and lightly drizzle some olive oil over the top. Serve eggs on the toast. Lush.

Fried mushrooms on top of the egg is a nice addition.

No HP sauce?

HP would be too powerful a flavour. if you do include HP. Use minute ammounts. The oil on the toast works so well with the spring onion and garlic. Keeping flavours to a minimum.

Fried mushrooms and tomatoes almost make me want to get up at a normal morning hour.

Yes, unless you're philosophically opposed to eating ovum.

I live in an apartment...with a cat...

A trained cat is no problem for a duck. They generally sort out an amicable hierachy, each minding it's own space. As for the apartment, thats a shame, fresh eggs, duck or chicken, are infinitely better to work with than bought ones, no matter the conditions they come from.

My statement stands. Everyone should have an egglaying duck. But sadly, it seems not everyone can.

They're also charming pets, and very low maintenence.

Honestly, the noise Isn't usually that bad.

Females are indeed louder than males, but they certainly don't quack all the time, and when they do it's rarely loud (feeding time quacks are far nicer and dulcet on the ears than "OH FUCK ITS A BLIMP WITH PETER BROCK'S FACE FLYING OVERHEAD" quacks...a type of quack we've only recently come to experience).

You'd be very suprised how much personality poultry can have. A single chicken even moreso than a duck.

Great, now the theme song is in my head... along with images of impossibly financial inner-city New Yorkers frolicking in fountains.

You may not have an annoying theme song in your head (celebrate the small victories!), but you're an unprecedented dickhead.
