new van halen sounds like van halen . a little more evolved and aggressive .
diamond dave sounds obnoxious but a lil older and some of the lyrics seem a lil ridiculous to me !
eddy sounds fantastic , using a wah and some different fx . his rythm stuff is fresh at parts , some of the solos seem a lil recycled
the drums have that same alex VH sound .
who is on bass ? the kid , if so , wow !!
i dont really hear a strong single though its good to hear them back together . that music just dominated the scene when i was in HS . the guys in my home town couldn't get enough of that shit !!
the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.
see now, VH have never really done it for me.
even eddie (I know, I know) has never really got me excited/sad/awed.
like I said... I know eddie did his own thing and the frankenstrat, and
he built it, and he is a ninja warrior and photosynthesis and on and on and on.
he just never did it for --> me <--. and dave... his vocals have always annoyed me.
he is a talk singer (my opinion/words). that just bothers me. same goes for
the almighty rockabilly hipster god johnny cash. talk talk talk talk taaaaaalk.
don't get me wrong, diamond dave had the industry in a choke hold with the
splits and the spin kicks and the pretty ribbons flailing and fluttering, but... yeah.
oh and who wouldn't go basketball eyes over a goddam jack fuckin' daniels BASS, dude!!!
sorry. I'll stop.
been listening to:
james carr - the complete goldwax singles
brownbird rudy relic - I am the juke!
stiff little fingers - inflammable material

That's better. And while we're here, why provide a link for him that was already included in my post which he was already quoting?

Fixed.
Your link showed a picture of a tape and the track listing from the cover. I saw nothing in your post about the explanation for the working or early titles for some of the songs which is very misleading. I replied to his post, not yours. So....Shut the fuck up.

Would you please get rid of the hall of flame? Obviously anyone who was interested in it had more than ample time to read it now. I'm just really trying to foregt about that piece of shit Denise as much as possible. And I think it is pretty much juvenile keeping it up. Will you please forgive me and take it down? I'd really appreciate it. Please let me know. Thanks a lot. Happy Holidays, take care, peace!
The Jesus Christ Superstar soundtrack, both actually and in my head all the time.

Ween and a bunch of 80's/90's black thrash from europe.
Any recommendations? My two favorites have been Sodom "In the Sign of Evil" and Destruction "Infernal Overdrive" & I really like Gallhammer "Gloomy Lights" (Japan).

Root, Kat, Törr, Maniac Butcher, Master's Hammer and Tormentor are all solid old school proto black/thrash from the eastern block/poland. Stay away from new Kat it's not even the same band. First releases are all pretty rad. Tormentor and Master's Hammer are borderline avant garde with newer releases, but old shit is ace. Old Kreator and Holy Moses also fit the bill if you want some german thrash. Absu, Aura Noir and Goatwhore are good modern bands to start with before deep diving.
