so i garbage picked these power supplys for pc's , they are only 250's but they have built in main switches (rare) . i got some barrier strips around here so one i am gonna mount on a chunk of wood with some rubber feets and then have 5 , 12 , bipolar 5 and 12 switchable on tap . really handy in my line of work (blowing shit up / frying stuff ) .

also i am mounting the other one under the cofee table in the living room . make a hidden switch panel and mount it up tomorow . i few years back i rescued about 20 color camera elements from the warranty program at this infinity dealers dumpster. 4 of them work that i know of so far , they are the reverse or back up cameras tiny little suckers like 1 by 2 inch . i am mounting one in the air conditioning unit facing out towards our front yard / parking lot . drill a lil peep hole for the camera , mount the PS , and the switch , i have this small color monitor that has composite video input with a gain adjuster . i tested this whole system out tonight it works awesome .

i always wanted a security camera , this one is color , and it was free !

if i feel like wasting some more time on it i could always go with a DIY infra red setup , thats the coolest , and pretty easy too . i have a video amp or two here that have multichannel switch able , maybe i could add 2 more cam angles and an infrared . i got a capture card too so i could run a DVR .

i always get a lot of goofy ideas , trying not to carry em out is the hard part for me .
