Unlike me.
I hit my peak as an infant.

Give this one a go if you can. About the same price range as Scapa.

Ever contemplated a tour of Scottish distilleries?

I have.
Money is nonexistent for that kind of travel though.
Drinking in America seems to be all I can do in the meantime.

Bugger.

I'm about to buy a map of Europe and stick it full of pins.

I've done that with a makeshift effigy of Louis Rojas.

Don't say that!

Chris would never do that to us...

Would he?

So anyways, I'm in fairly hefty agreeance on this Oban business, though I did get happily waylayed by a 15 y.o. lowflyer.

Hey Rick, do you find that Oban (or any other whisky for that matter) tastes better in your own home?

Posted: 23 Jan 2007, 23:03
by Rick Cave
I do. It's much less stressful drinking at home.
Stress affects taste buds. At least my gut tells me it does.
Also the insane prices of drinking single malts at bars turns me off of it.

I felt the difference between drinking at the inlaws' house and my own home.
