I would suspect that some of Passolini's films would suit your drugged up brains. Perhaps I could suggest watching Zalo?
It should be wathced anyway, so why not while high.

If you by Zalo mean Salò, then I agree... I bought this movie to a friend of mine, who is mostly into Die Hard and other action films. He is really stupid that way. I bought it to piss him off... We sat down to watch it, and be both enjoyed it.

It's better if you're two together, wouldn't you say?
And yes, I mean Salo.
When I called you gay, I meant in regards to the hating stuff. I've seen fear and loathing. Not read the book though, but I have shitloads to read before I get to that.

Salo works best if you watch it with a special friend, yes...
Nah, not really... I mostly like to watch movies alone. At least the "heavier" stuff. All my friends are zombies. Sure they pretend to know alot about films, naming pulp fiction as the best movie ever. You know the type. I bet they dont even know who Fellini is..,
oh and reading is for old people...

Well, I´m not that old, but I read probably 10-100 times more than I watch films. I too prefer to watch them alone though. Fellini, Passolini, Vischonti. Those are my main men.Thunder Bear";p="846402 wrote:Salo works best if you watch it with a special friend, yes...

Sure, not all so-called Classics are great, but I still think they´re worth seeing because it oftens leads to other interesting discoveries. For example, the film "Ludwig" by Vischonti made me (at least mildly) interested in the historical character Ludwig of Bayern. The rich european cultural heritage is interesting in it´s own right, at least that´s my opinion.
