today's highlight, I got my practical element of my zoo-keeping course confirmed.

6 months each in this order:
Awstrylyan mammals (some hand-feeding of baby marsupials - awww!)
Bird Show (dodging condors)
Vet centre (this will be a stoater of a stunt)
Reptiles and amphibians (Croikey!)

Would have loved marine animals but bandicooots are such cuddly critters

P.S. Rick - I will be campaigning hard for Taronga Zoo to have lemurs ASAP
