"Good Hair" is almost entertaining.

I'm hard for Chris Rock, but he doesn't really get going here. Not a film made for me, just another American vanity doc.

The Virginity Hit http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1695994/

Obviously one for the teens, lacked the malice and for the most part the hijynxery of yer American Pie style 'lets all get laid' film (how is that even a genre now?) which is, I would say a good thing.

Mostly hand held and set to look like home movies which was interesting at least. Some good lines and banter throughout. Can't really recommend or disapprove of this one either way.

I'm sure it's no Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Because "films for fucking dickheads" is too much of a mouthful.

For dickheads that like those films.

highly recomended , put this at the top of your list , its on netflicks right here :

this guy was THE best singer , ever . his story is truly moving , the film is very well made , but it assumes you are familiar with his work , which i am , very . if you ARE a fan of his work , this explains everything , answered tons of questions that i had . for those of you unfamiliar with his impressive body of work this is a gooder time than any . it's a fascinating story , but dont be surprised if you end up with a lump in your throat . no excuses , i expect a full report first thing monday morning people . i have been waiting to see this for over 5 years , after watching it , worth every second . it really is a great biodoc , the best one i have watched .

i thought maybe it would be like classic material , but don't think it was . so there was a lil sense of let down , i guess i had read too much hype . its funny how when a film gets slammed , sometime i will enjoy it more , or vice versa . preconceived notions are a real factor for me !

as far as doing a "western" they did a great job , the sense of how desperate and money hungry folks were . the goofy characters kept it interesting , but some of that crossed over into "fantasy land" for me . believability . it will be interesting to see what J.B. does next .
I saw this last night. Bridges was excellent and the Coen Bros did a fantastic job. I loved the whole thing. It was almost identical to the original film line wise but that didn't detract as Bridges was better than Wayne and the Coen brothers eclipsed the original in every way. They said that the film was an homage to the book rather than the original film, but you know that the original film was too. Not too much artistic license from either party it seems. Both films are great though.

I agree. Normally female empowerment annoys me in films but she was amazing

I liked the character and she was ok. You could see it was green acting which maybe worked in her favour. An Oscar would ruin her. The worse thing that could happen to her.

"Rhys Ifans plays Howard Marks in a movie based around the Welsh drug dealer's biography ".

i did not read the book so i really enjoyed this one unlike the reviewers on imdb . the drug scenes really worked well and there is a LOT of drug use in this movie , so be ready for that . although it was really late , and its very cloudy right now . im sure i could find fault in it , but honestly cant think right now . i am just going to recommend this . good flick , definitely check this out .

This one is gut wrenching. It's like those documentaries about crazy people that I love except there's nothing but sadness.
There's some scenes when the guy who is Orsen Wells grandson, forgets to take his meds [which is often] that he goes so out of his mind with rage that he sounds like he's being autotuned.
First time I ever seen a transgender that was a rational and together person.
I guess it's like a real life "Jullian Donkey Boy"

True Grit is fantastic.
My mate gave me the original on DVD for my birthday too, so expect a comparative review sometime.

It was entertaining, maybe i'd like it more if I didn't know most of this stuff already.
The best is seeing the old people getting bitched at by their wives while being interviewed.
Pretty well done and worth a free Netflix stream

Dear pillowfigh...
If you ever need a time to just try giving smoking pot a whirl, do it during Trash Humpers. I can't think of a better window for you to experiment and you will have had an experience that you will cherish until your death rattle.

I laughed the entire length of the film

yeah, I saw trash humpers sober as a church mouse.
I laughed quite a bit and it made me want to buy velcro shoes.
thing is, my flings with pot proved to be wastes of time.

is it possible that it affects me in NO WAY?
no everything-is-funny, no paranoia, no deep thoughts/"great" ideas, no munchies, NOTHING.
perhaps I just don't have enough brain matter for it to grab ahold of. :?
