sure suspiria is his "masterpiece" but i phenomena aka creepers is a close runner up . it just has a lot going for it . although my kids got a little shook up , its got some really intense violence gore , and a fabulous gross out scene . it does borrow from a non argento classic , pretty heavily , just one element at the end , but thats all in all forgivable .

watched buffalo 66 again last night ,
i am still reeling from the fact that i had that movie in my hand at the video store like 4 times and put it back to suffer thru some trash that evening .

watching the original planet of the apes flicks with the kids . the credits in the 2nd one list "fat man" and "negro" , both pretty main characters .

btw, i loved Vernon, Florida per your reccomendation
that turkey hunter, i wonder if i can pay him to take me hunting one weekend
and i can't put my finger on why, but my favorite moment is at the beginning. the old man sitting on the bench and as he's finished talking another guy goes to get into his beat up ford. but before he gets in he smacks his dirty gloves on the side of the bed two times. love that.
