'there will be blood'

did anyone else think the soundtrack was really distracting?

I watched the second Transformers movie last night.

Have to say I actually thought it was alright.

Mobes, I love you man, but after that post, I'm going to have to lead the angry mob to your castle and burn your shit down.

Bayformers is terrible, the first one at least satisfied some childhood curiousity/desire to see massive robots smashing each other onscreen and there are one or two shots in the second one that look cool, but the rest is epileptic, cum-laced diarrhoea fired into a tramps mouth and vomited back into the viewer's eyes and ears.
:dead:

I was dumb enough to pay to see the first two for the "cinematic" experience and CGI, but the horrific characterisation and assberry acting made me physically sick. I won't be watching 3.

"assberry" has been added to my lexicon.

I thought that said Babyformers at first, which would have been a far more interesting film.

The Moon is flawless. Great to see a good sci-fi that doesn't turn into a action flick.

Hurt Locker was great when I saw it- the next day I thought it was too preachy

re-watached fulcis "gates of hell" , pretty good . "cruise into terror" , dirk benadict , 70's love boat rip off with an evil sarcophagus on board . saw it as a kid , my mom made us shut it off , kind of adult content-y / satanic . my lil brother was terrified of the sarcophagus . it just laid there on a pool table ! prolly gonna watch "outrage" another mftv about a dad who fights back against a gang . looking for this anti drug mftv with pcp . a kid jumps off a flag pole "i can fly" i think robby benson drives his charger into a train "gotta get the devil " have to research it , just remembering some funtastic pcp antics .
brain damage , another goofy 80's horror/comedy . it was meh .

i dont think any thing is gonna top street trash , i just re-watched that . its just fantastic .first time i saw it i was really turned off by it , but its worth the hunt , just be warned its really silly , and kinda dirty and foul . (gang rape buy bums , big fat guy does some necrophilia , over done sound effects and gore .
the shop lifting scene was perfect though .

Last Ride - Terrific. Hugo impressed me once again :) And the kid was really good too.

The Strangers - OK. Original was better I thought.

"Scott Pilgrim vs The World"

This is going to polarise people. It's completely silly and the action is white-guy martial arts, so the fight scenes are really choreographed. The visuals are quite cartoony and the cast is almost entirely young, attractive, indie types, making it a cross between an old episode of Batman and a Pavement gig from the 90s.

Think "Kick-Ass" with mad cartoon special effects. A video game-type movie with lots of video game culture references. 3 of us went to see it, I thought it was good, my younger friend raved about it, my older friend who doesn't play video games got bored with the fight scenes and only laughed at the snappier bits of dialogue.

Popcorn action comedy that tries very hard to impress teenagers.

Boy - Loved it! Favourite film of 2010.

Where The Wild Things Are - Turned it off halfway through. Couldn't get into it.

The Basketball Diaries - I enjoyed it. The last 30 minutes were the best, leo was great in it. So was Mark Wahlberg and I hate him.

Sherlock holmes - a different than usual sherlock holmes but enjoyable enough. Rachel McAdams was horrible in it though.

Adulthood (sequel to kidulthood) - couldn't watch, needed subtitles badly.

There was some clever moments but it got pretty painfull. And it looked like it was filmed with the same cell phone camera that was used in Inland Empire

Enjoyed it - some absolutely brilliantly funny stuff early on, then it got a bit Spike Lee/sentimelodramatic and ran out of punch for me. Still, great movie. Bugger about the goat

:(

The Informant is quite dull.

It plays like a clever TV movie. We took a while to stop frowning at it before we realised what was going on, then were disappointed.

It takes a very boring story and drags it out, trying to make Matt Damon's charactor interesting, so your attention is maintained.

meh.
