so we watched this movie "slaughter" :

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1230206/

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyBYOHs5GOo

the main actress is a spitting image for chickenbun

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1213995/

seriously looks like her , highly recommended for rambam , and others that spank it to chickenbun .

dont think she is naked in it , and she plays a good girl so you may need some lube , pretty disgusting horror film , but like i said the actress looks a LOT like chicken slut .
the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.

I saw How To Train Your Dragon. I thought it was standard fare with a very irritating lead voice cast. I want to see Ponyo again.

Four Lions is excellent - although it is very British, so not sure it'll work outside the UK.

Was surprisingly better than I thought. I watched it as a loyal Chris Morris fan and it did have his trademarks:

- bizarre animal joke references "you're a camel's shit pipe" etc
- absurd situations
- charactors quizzing each other and coming to stupid conclusions that motivate their actions
- farcical/ignorant charactors, esp. authority figures,
- wacky news headlines/reports

but it also had some really decent acting, a believable plot (for a farce) and some genuinely funny moments. Lots of laughter from different types of people in the cinema, teenagers and pensioners alike. I can't say that the script was great, because I have heard that the actors were allowed to improvise based on the situation they were in, which shows, but it gives it a few Spinal Tap moments, such as the post-death video one the jihadists record, which features one of them telling a mate to pay back the money he owes, but to give it to a mate of his, because he himself will be dead. And then could the mate go and pick it up yeah?

Works better when you see it.

Anyway, it's decent. Praise Allah for that.

He's coming out to Sydney for their movie festival in July. Vey much hoping he hangs round to do the Melbourne film festival a few weeks later. It should at very least, get a screening there. DVD release is mid August I think.

Very excited for this - though not looking forward to waiting years more for his next venture.

The trailers looked ridiculous. That old lady climbing the ceiling and the stretched-out limbs and face dude didn't look scary at all, they looked silly. And so fake. I'm wondering when CGI will actually start looking good instead of just "cool".
