At this time I'd like to thank Richard Vergez for all of his wonderful design work. Without him, you would not be looking at such impressive and professional looking releases. He's also the man behind Drowning the Virgin Silence. Be sure to check out his other bands The Gray Girls and MÖTHERSKY. As with Drowning the Virgin Silence all of Richard's musical out put is fantastic.

I'd also like to thank Duane Hosein for providing the artwork for A Hare of the Table that Pet You. Duane will be relocating to New York within the next few weeks and is currently in the process of selling many of his beautiful paintings and drawings to fund his move as well as his addiction to Ethiopian coffee and allergy medication. If you're at all a fan of obsessive compulsive illustration then check out his work and, if you feel so inclined, buy a piece.

Fecalove - Forever Young

Italy's one-man, debauchery laden, masturbating disaster has come back to Goat Eater for his second full length release. Fecalove's signature cut up junk noise has only gotten better with age. This is what I'd imagine it would sound like to over-dose on viagra, cialis, levitra and vodka martinis. The usual squalling feedback and in-the-red amplified implements are all there but this release is punctuated by tense silences, off kilter tape and electronic manipulations, tortured and effects laden vocals and bass heavy rumblings. I'm not sure that I'd be comfortable saying that Nicola Vinciguerra has matured but he has most definitely grown into something new and that something is, as usual, disgusting.


Tim the Band - Thank You Roland

...and now for something completely different. Goat Eater has never issued anything quite so musical, until now. Tim the Band is a two piece, multi instrumental jazz outfit, that runs the gamut from free jazz to old standards to fusion and beyond. Dan Pearson and Chris Olsen have stripped down their usual truck load of instruments to just a hand-full of saxophones; soprano, tenor and baritone along with a few loop stations to create this beautiful invocation to the late, great Rashaan Roland Kirk. Loops of saxophone build into something more and more interesting as time goes by. This three track CD continues to transform and will most assuredly transfix the listener.

Each CD is $11, postage paid, anywhere in the US. $12 to Canada and $14 for the rest of the world.

During the Fall of 2010, York Factory Complaint (a quartet comprised of Michael Berdan, Ryan Martin, Theresa Smith and Michael Yaniro) & Hoor-paar-Kraat teamed up for a few in-studio recording sessions. This C30, comprised of two side-long tracks, houses the fruits of their collective labors. Neither resembling the back catalog of York Factory Complaint or Hoor-paar-Kraat, the work presented here, is a beast all its own. Harkening back to old school industrial music, these tracks are raw, primal, loud, looping, plodding and, at times, even beat oriented.

Packaged by hand, true to form of Goat-Eater Arts. Each piece is uniquely constructed and consecrated by Anthony Mangicapra.

Thanks dude. I know some people don't like the cassettes or just don't have a place to play them but I just love them.

For the CD only crew, I have a 2 CD set that should be out within a matter of days. It's all of the recordings from my time in Eureka, CA.
The Eureka Tapes (the complete recordings) should be out soon from http://small-doses.com/ in the US and http://www.bassesfrequences.org/ from France. So, we've got North America and Europe all taken care of. There will be 500 copies and there's even an artist's edition but that's all I'm going to say about that, for now.

Also, I did a remix for a track by an English band called Formication for their upcoming CD The Eyes of Erodern Reviema. Another remix was provided by Locrian.
