Re: Recent films. A very brief opinion.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - So-so. I do like David Fincher, but this was rather average. Its no Zodiac, to put it like that. Enya song was the highlight.

Re: scary movies!

- Don't Look Now (that one scene, after all that build up. Classic!) - The Exorcist (obviously) - Lost Highway (this can be really spoky, if you watch in the right environment) - Martyrs (not spooky, but intensely fucked up. It's in fact a really good movie, although many will find it hard to watch....

Re: just what the docs in no order

Just watched "The Bridge" last night. It's a simple doc about people that jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. Nothing that's eye opening and it is sort of like a so-so version of "Faces Of Death" One of the jumpers that they showed a lot looked just like Jim Martin I loved it, main...

Here are some good ones I've downloaded recently:

"Dear Zachary"
"American: The Bill Hicks Story"
"The Cove"
"Not Quite Hollywood" (Aussie explotation documentary. Really cool, if youre into that kind of stuff, which Im guessing most of you are).

Re: Movies you wish they would remake

I love Rear Window to death. It's among my all time top ten.
That said, I would actually like to se a decent remake of this, NOT starring Shia LeBeouf.
Hell, they could even add a zombie apocalypse to the story. Or not. I don't know...

Re: Do you only date girls who appreciate the same music?

My girlfriend likes Robyn, which is pretty cool. Concert tomorrow :)

Apart from that, she only listens to horrible shit..
My guess is that she doesnt really care that much about music.

Re: Queens Of The Stone Age - Self Titled remaster.

Have tickets to Kyuss next weekend, but I will probably give them away, and go skiing instead.
I can do backflips now.

So if anyone want a ticket to Kyuss in Bergen, Norway. Please let me know.

Selling salmon. Yup, thats what I do these days. Today I sold a full truck (20 tons) of fish to some moron in Bruges. Quite satisfied with that.

I believe this is one of those "owned" moments.
Do people still use that term on the internet, or is it totally passé?

Either way, Mondo Pain ought to change his name to Mondo Lame.

Wait, I just fuck up myself, didnt I?

Re: New\Old Soundgarden

Never really listened to Soundgarden, so I wont argue too much, but I believe that the award for "the most meh reunion" belongs to The Smashing Pumpkins. Billy Corgan is now the only original member, and he is currently releasing his "44-song album", one track at the time, over t...
