One clove is enough for a regular packet of butter. You have to chop it quite finely though...

here's my question
is a clove the little thing
or the whole thing that has all the little bits
you need to eat 3-5 of those little things a day
you will live forever

By the way, Caroline's uncle swears by the garlic eating thingy and eats tons of the stuff. Also, my father believes that drinking a pint of cabbage water a day will keep him living forever. So the 15 pints of bitter a night and 60 ciggerettes a day won't hurt him I guess.

supplements don't always work
bioavailability and various interactions effect what your body actually absorbs
the right foods in the right combinations seems to work best

You're guessing correctly.
Who's "Caroline"? Is that a code for Floodmatt when you have visits at the house?

garlic owns. the trick to garlic butter is to shave the clove uber fine, using a razor, then fry lightly in some ghee... the garlic breaks right down....
lately i've been experimenting with all cloves as supposed to crushed/chopped garlic .... definitely has a more subtle taste.
