Meh... he doesn't like it when they fuck up the sound. I saw him throw the mic at a guy during one of Bowery shows in 2001 as he was walking off stage.

mistake or not, anything and everything can and will be sacrificed for the show
entertainment is not apologetic, nor does it say "i'm sorry"
if a redneck catches a lougious wad of flegm in his redneck mouth from mike P, then that's just what's gonna happen
ppl will laugh, chuckled, noxiate, vomit, shit, etc
and the show will go on..

its just mikey who's out of controle.
like at a mr bungle show.
compact venue...crowd gone wild...mike loses his temper, hitting a guy on the head.
oops, wrong guy! mike offers the bleeding head guy a towel, which the innocent fan-victem accepts.

Funny enough, it was during the beginning of the show when shit is usually done improperly and needs to be sorted out. I thought it more outrageous he pulled his pecker out in Oz.

Mike Patton is an asshole...always has been. But we love him anyway. The rest of the band just look on and laugh or get in on the fun occasionally. Like I said FNM have never been Nelson or The Mickey Mouse Club. Too much G.G. Allin in 'em too be polite. Offensive at best. They were always the anti rock band and did not behave the way the press, their peers, the record company or some of their fans wanted them to. Get in on the joke or get laughed at.
