Sorry but "HUGE" and "Primus" cannot belong in the same thought together.

I lost interest after Tales From The Punchbowl. Maybe this will be better.

While I can agree Antipop and the Animals EP just didn't do it, Brown Album had some great stuff...

Shake Hands with Beef
Kalamazoo
The Return of Sathington Willoughby
Bob's Party Time Lounge
The Chastising of Renegade

All high quality.

This show was a "warm-up" show, where Les said it's going to be them running through a ton of songs they'll play on the tour.

I'm going to say this right now, Jay Lane blew me away. He's like a combination of Herb and Brain. After seeing Primus when Herb wasn't really into Primus and just seemed like he was doing it just because, I now prefer Lane as THE Primus drummer. He was incredible and breathed new life into all the songs they ran through that night. He was unbelievable.

The sometimes lazy and overdone ten minute+ jams that they used to do with Herb (eg: Beat a Dead Horse tour) is no more. They still jam out songs, but they're also extremely energetic and moving forward, quickly moving through the song, not just letting the jam get stagnant. They were also smiling the whole time at each other, Les is stomping around like he used to 15 years ago, and you can just feel the energy flowing, something that was missing with Tim later on.
