tim burton at this point is like listening to a band with an established, distinct sound play nothing but cover songs for 10 years
'heres MY take on alice in wonderland! doesnt it look GOOFY and CRAZY??'
yes, its actually exactly how i imagined it in my head after i heard the words 'tim burton's alice in wonderland'
enough already

I really loved the frog and fish butlers.

The 3D was converted from a normal film instead of using a 3D camera. This made everything looked more embossed instead of having the images invading your personal space

The dancing of both the Mad Hatter and Alice were the most awkward and uncomfortable moments in my movie-watching history since I saw Cannibal Holocaust.

The neat little "corporate success wrap-up" at the end was the stupidest conclusion of any film ever.

i had an incredibly tough time trying to figure out every other thing Johnny Depp was saying. not that it really mattered.

wearing 3D glasses on top of prescription glasses is painful.

the only parts i enjoyed were Matt Lucas and the Tron trailer. but

Saw the Tim Burton exhibition at MOMA in its last weekend: Rubbish.
Overcrowded tourist trap for hillbillies (3 poky rooms? MOMA go fuck yourself) to learn one illuminating fact: Tim Burton can't draw for shit.
