I haven't been a massive fan of them, but judging from the list of musicians on this album you would expect nothing short of pretty damn good.

I'd love to see them work with Andrew WK.

Sunn 0))) has a couple good albums, then a lot of there stuff falls in the "more of the same" category. This albums sounds like it could be a new take on Sunn 0))), I'm interested to hear it.

I can't honestly see how anyone would find sunn remotely interesting, just listen to earth 2.

but Sunn 0)))'s early albums are different, man! They use slightly different chords and their pace is 2 bpm slower... or some shit.

Well, definitely see them live once. Their records don't do much for me but I saw them with Boris (who were, of course, much better) and it was a hell of an experience. So many people not wearing earplugs...certain permanent ear damage. The vibrations blew the air out of the room - it was hard to breathe.

Good on them for recreating the feeling of a nuclear meltdown. And insisting on having a rug onstage.

most of their albums are pretty different from earth 2.
they are certainly darker and more open to using electronics and vocals.

I saw them playing in a big church here in Bergen. They were so loud that pieces of cinder blocks fell down from the roof.

are we still digging/hating this band?
listening to their compact discs (as loud as you can get them) is
probably a waste of time huh?
"see them live because listening to them at home is retarded"?
"earth is better"?

survey says?

truth be told... I can't picture a lot of you digging this band,
well aside from hank and whatever, but I'll tell you what...
this is no doubt the music that sounds each and every time
rick cave steps out of the shower. all king kong paints the town red and stuff.

I keep meaning to listen, but they've got a stupid name and there's another band called Sunna or Sunne or something.

Or is that just a Rammstein song that my band covers?
