Excellent..well paced and quite intriguing..a 2 time watcher..

Naomi Watts was a pivotal yet minmal charachter.. in the big scheme..

the violence was as usual shocking..and the eyeball scene in the bathouse people in the theater actually laughed??? why?? all i could do was go 'whew' after the intensity of the scene..(knows laughter often is a stress release)

Viggo M. was absolutely outstanding as was all the cast...

Bravo

when I saw Bug this was all I could think about, once I was done shaking.

I swear.

I really loved it.
Most of the people in the theater with me did not like it.

All of those people cried in Titanic, I know it.

rev-eng...after seeing the movie nothing shaked me..(sorry) and as far as the notorious lesbian scene with ashley judd there wasn't any..

the movie was enjoyable but all the hype turned out to be a no-show..

yeah bugs make my skin crawl but until you see the b-grade movie leeches then pishhh

nothing like seeing leeches come out of lettuce heads and eating them in a salad.. ;-)

see, that's the problem most people had with the movies
it's creepy because there aren't any bugs.

but that sort of thing isn't for everyone.

true-there was more charachter development especially judds.
actually i liked the fact that the bugs were not readily visible (and that they were aphids-garden variety bug) the conspiracy angle and the tooth pulling scene was effective on the creep-o-meter.

i just think they could have fleshed it out just a bit more without risking spoon feeding the audience..

the tooth-pulling scene was even more creepy in the stage version.

I laughed, too. I think it was the utter absurdity of the scene. It was just like: "yeah, why fucking not?!" That whole scene was insane.

Fucking oath. He could win the Oscar for this, though I'm pretty sure he won't. Seriously, best I've seen him.

Concur. He SHOULD win the Oscar for this.

Casey already has his dirty Affleck-ridden hands on the thing.

Gone Baby or Jesse James?

I'm disturbed that Gone Baby Gone looks all right.

I liked it. But once the twist was revealed the movie collapsed, and you did feel a bit cheated.

Nah. I just questioned how Watts was going to get back with that bundle on her bike.

I just wasn't sure exactly why.
pretty weak, as twists go.

Doesn't change the fact that this movie was great.
As for the bath-house-eye-stabbing, I think the theater was laughing because of Viggo's flopping around.

It was an okay film made less ok but the unnecessary crappy looking throat gapes in the barber chair and the cemetery.

Liked it lots, even though I had to see lil' Viggo flopping around several times... The old guy is a worthy addition to the great mob bosses of cinema.
