I still haven't seen the new movie.

I am afraid I'll start crying in the theater.

It's amazing to see how much of the book they can leave out of the movies. The 4th movie had about 1/4 of the book in it. They just have to take so much out in order to make a 2 hour movie.

There's way more going on in the 5th book. I'm interested to see how much is left out, which subplots are dropped, and how much screen time Gary Oldman gets.

I'm more excited about the new book though.

I've only got the one shirt. And I'm wearing that.
I'll let you borrow the scarf.

You can only wear the scarf...

Spoiler:

In the end, Harry walks over to the dark side because he's seducted by Frodo. They then engage in a series of bizarre experiments together with Jim Carrey. Unfortunately, the Ghost busters finds out and sends them to the Ovary Bastille. There they undergo torture at the hands of Herr Flick, but it all ends in singing and dancing when Pluto Nash comes by brining cake and tea.

Definitly worth reading! :D

I thought the same thing. I didn't start until there were already 4 out.

I went to the second movie and had it spoiled by an old lady. So, I read up before the third movie came out and I got hooked.

I watched the first film out of interest.. Bored the shit out of me..
Watched the second, based on a recommendation that Kenneth Branagh was awesome. I thought he was the only decent thing about the entire film.
Watched the third for Oldman.
Fourth for Ralph.

Willow is better.

Neville Longbottom and the Shadow of the Elephant. I've been working on it for years. But I only have the title.

I foresee a Teddy series. Don't you?

When I worked in kindergarden\nursery I created a tale about "Captain Rotten-tooth and the quest for the magic tooth brush". Damn that was populare! Kids will eat raw whatever crap you serve them, believe me.

I've spent years and years making up weird stories for little kids.

"The Dog Who Loved Coffee" was a tale about how caffeine can make you edgy and how getting off the stuff can mess you up as well.

"The Laundry Man" was the perfect way to get kids to fall asleep.

and there was one about a girl who was sent off to the circus to support her family. It had such an effect on my little sister that she is planning on going to sideshow freak school when she turns 18 next year.

Oh.. The old circus run-away story. That's a classic.

I've got to stay out of this thread, my former pains at work is starting to haunt me.

I finally saw the order of the phoenix. Not bad, not as disappointed with everything they cut out from the book as I usually am. It still made sense. Needed more Gary Oldman. Maybe some explanation of who the people in the house were. And a little more Gary Oldman. The little girl who plays Hermione is becoming a worse actor as time goes on, it seems. I'd give it an "alright."
