I've found these pretty useful in the past.

Book
Abe Books

DVD
DVD Pricecheck - with region code option (tailored primarily for UK users)

Find DVD (designed exclusively for UK users and region code 2)

None of these are comprehensive, but can give you a guide. The book search is probably the most useful for non UK peoples.

Some good titles there, and some aweful ones... But I guess that you are like me, and buy movies instead of renting them. That way you sometimes end up owning some serious shit...
