if ive had it anywhere it had to be at a festival..
ive got a refridgerator/kegerator on order right now.. its gonna have 2 taps and enough room to hold 2 5 gallon kegs, plus some bottles, etc.. i should have it in like 6 weeks.. im gonna start kegging my own beer..

but.. i actually rinse it a little before filling the bottles..
the whole bottling process is just a pain in the ass.. and you've got to save all the bottles and shit.. it sucks..

I did a side by side of two American Pale Ales last night...
The Sierra Nevada is a classic of course, it is basically the benchmark for the APA style... however I have to give the Ipswich a slight edge... while the SNPA is more focused on hops, the Ipswich has a bit more malt and a serious spicy yeast presence (almost tasted a bit belgian), and I felt it had a more complex flavor overall.
english ales is a local brewery. (i think it's completely cheesedick that they throw the 'english' tag in there, it's very american micro) and this pale rocks face all over SN and ipswich.
jeff, we should come up with a micro-brew exchange. i'll ship you a sixer of some local goodies for a trade.

Sierra Nevada is a great brewery.
