Long story, but I watched the Angels and Demons preview with a couple of dog-collar wearing clergymen last night.

Well, bugger me, it sucked hairy balls! Ewan McGregor should turn his light saber on himself for crimes against Irish accents.

Gran Torino: Karate Kid with a twist. I enjoyed it.

Red: Gran Torino with a twist. Also slightly better.

Milk: ZZzzzzz indeed.

Yes Man: Lame

Role Models: Annoying, except for this guy:
Image

He needs more lines!

The Day the Earth Stood Still: The day my tv stood still. This was incredibly boring! Bug aliens? LAAAAAAME!! Keanu Reeves is the most boring guy on earth. Judging by the title, maybe that is why he got the part. Fucking eskimo!

Wackness: Nice film. The hot NYC summers in the mid 90's and the drug theme, somewhat reminded me of Kids. The soundtrack was cool as well.

Lakeview Terrace: Popcorn flick, that kinda reminded me of Falling Down. Not nearly as good though.

Dead Snow: Low budget nazi-zombie film from Norway. Ive seen this a thousand times before, but some of the scenes were great. It got a lot of hype at the Sundance film festival, which says nothing really. This movie is okay if you like the genre.

State of Play: Decent politic conspiracy film. Ben Affleck is good, and Russel Crowe is Russel Crowe. Even though I enjoyed this film, I recommend you to watch All the Presidents instead. Actually that goes without saying..

Saw Notorious (2009). Not as good as Notorious (1946) but fun nonetheless. Hilariously awesome performances by the actors playing BIG and Lil Kim.

Hank's black*?

*Mr John disclaimer
There is only one reason anyone would see this movie - if they were a really stupid fake ass rap fan, who spouts lyrics and lives an imaginary bad boi lifestyle inside their own head, whilst wearing stupid clothes and acting tough on their headset when they play Xbox. Let's be honest here, B.I.G was an average rapper, another "poor guy from da street" who got rich going on about how bad his life was in da ghetto, who was suddenly elevated to fame by being shot. Making a film about him is like making records posthumously - the family can't let go/come to terms with their huge loss (snigger) and everyone else is clamouring to make cash off his corpse. Not interesting.

All I said was that the movie was fun and parts were hilariously awesome*. And then YOU go on to rant and infer that I am the type of individual who listens to rap** AND plays video games??? As an American, I am compelled to sue.

* Is the plight of black folks ever not hilariously awesome?

** I did have a Notorious BIG album 10 years ago.
