Anyhoo, who wants to buy a tortured genius striker, only two (memorable) owners and a great first touch? May be prone to huffs.

Modric's signing may persuade him that next year's service from midfield might be good enough to make him stay for another year or two. I don't really mind if he stays or goes this year. Ramos has instilled some faith.

I haven't seen any Spurs matches since the final TBH

Do you know who I think would be good though? Crouch. If Lennon and Modric can provide good crosses, he's well capable of a few goals.

Oh wait, I need to add the Peter Crouch mandatory statement:

"...And he has a great touch for a big man."
Stuff.

We've been dominating the vast majority of games but the whole aspect of them ultimately not meaning anything has led to the finishing being rather non-cutthroat. I can see Ramos is going to be very dependent on fit, attacking fullbacks just like at Sevilla, the recent game against Reading a fitting example. Four very narrow-positioned midfielders with Hutton and Gilberto encouraged to run into the overlapping space caused the (very admittedly average) Royals' defence a lot of trouble. I would expect such players would comprise the big buys this summer after he finds another keeper to replace that Cerny mong.

Interesting to see Berbatov not present for the launch of the new kit. You'd have to say the writing is on the wall. I wouldn't be surprised to see a deal with Milan signed fairly soonish. He and Flamini would probably get on like a house on fire, now that I think of it.

Blue shorts are back, thank Christ, and I absolutely LOVE the striped socks.

I still hate Puma strips.
And black away kits.
And Puma strips.
And fiddling with minor trim details every year on shirts.
And the sponsor.
And Puma strips.
I'm not feeling the light blue either. Makes Jenas look like a toddler.

It does.

Seriously.

Look again

Aaaw, look at his little hat! Must have taken ages for his mum to find the right colour wool.

I think I can see Aaron Lennon peeking out from behind Keano's shins too.

Extremely mediocre and backwards strip modification. But the socks are good.

We've signed more players than most clubs. Particularly happy with Gomes coming in and Robinson going to Blackburn.

Gomes was probably man of the match. The guy can throw the thing as far as most kick it. Freak.

Corluka finally signed. Good option considering he can play at right-back, centre-half and as a holding mid. Pavlyuchenko also in but is cup-tied to Spartak Moscow in the UEFA Cup.

One more striker please.
