Mix packs are this shit, unless you buy ones bottled last november... and are too broke to buy anything new...

Looks like my Bigfoot reserves aren't going to reach maturity after all.

The Bigfoot went down... I appreciate that stuff more every time I have it. It's such a gargantuan brew... you have to learn not to approach it like a normal beer. Fantastic stuff. I might just start buying a case annually.

But, more notably, I FINALLY got to try a bottle of this:

It was definitely good... and it smuggles it's 11% quite well... but maybe didn't fully live up to the hype. I'll give it another go, though, I think it could have stood to warm up a little more.

Possibly the best Australian beer I have tasted.

Get it in a pint-size bottle.

I idn't fancy any beer, lager or cider this week during our shopping trip. I completely forgot about the existence of ale.

Getting old sucks.

I'm getting a crate of poacher's Choice in soon.

I don't think I like trappist beers anymore.

I'm quite fond of James Squire's Amber Ale, though.

No huge beer conoiseur or whatevert it is called, but tried a couple of new ones (to me) this weekend:

Speckled hen - Not memorable. Nothing special really.
Leffe - Too sweet to actually drink, but I made a good desert out of it (see separete thread).
Nøgne Ø Brown Ale - "Local" Norwegian ecologic beer. Pretty damn good actually.

Hmm..Can't remember the rest now actually. Bye!

i got a 12er of Peroni , italian beer , tastey , kinda like a becks - the mettalic aftertaste , pretty strong if i member corectly . lately i have been doing some warstieners and golden pheasent , very robust flavor , the pheasent , not bitter , just right , packs a good return as well .
my neighbor gave me a 30 of pbr cans and 2 6ers of mickeys big mouth , i guess they came home early and caught their 16 year old girl partying so they confiscated the brew and gave it to me cause when ever i am outside i have a glass of beer !
the pbr was pretty good , i hadnt had it since forever , and the mickeys didnt seeem to have the skunk effect that it did the first time i tried it .
pretty nice folks , the neighbors , it's just too bad the kid wasnt haveing a heroin party .

PBR is quality.
I've been into blue moon lately, quite enjoyable for lunchtime at a bar garnished with an orange slice.

had some HACKER PSCHEEOAR or however you spell it , mmmmm , super yumm yumm , it left some funky yeast globs on the bottom of the glass too , BONUS !
also tried this russian shit , came in a 3 liter super tall plastic brown bottle , it is spelled APOERvDCHACKAVACHZVACACAHOE , supposedly 5.0 , it is red and kinda bitter wierd winey flavor , not much carbonation . both times i had it i puked , 2/3 way through the ordeal . really wierd stuff , i NEVER puke . mind you , empty stomach and i was poppin 800 mg ibuprofiends and som vicodins too . its like 3.33 cents a bottle , supa 40 . guarunteed to make even the most cirosissed liquor chimp blow a gasket . you gotta try this stuff , it rules ! :drunk: :eyes: :puke: :sly:  :drunk: :(|)

oh and one more thing george killian can go eat a steaming hairy corn turd rolled in rotten fish eyes ., that would taste better than his "beer" :chicken:
