Didn't like it. It's so easy to paint fascists as inhuman and socialist rebels as good. Nice visuals, but thumbs down.

You seem to have terrible trouble separating truth from fiction.

The art of re-presenting, a seemingly absent skill in most. Brother let us bow our heads and pray for the souls of the idle.

Still, it does not excuse his lack of ability avoid duplicity when he speaks of various fictions and the truths (of circumstance) from which they are derived.

I think you guys are slightly fucked in the head. Pans Labyrinth was nothing more than okay. I dont understand all the fuzz around it.

Nice facesmashingscene btw!

Redundant User resorted to self harming instead. He just had to suppress his emotions somehow. Self harming while listening to Depeche Mode no less. My fucking hero!

The ending was good. Everything up to that got a bit trying after the eighty-billionth evil thing the Captain did.

Saw this last night. Disappointing. Too much bad/cartoony CGI, silly face killing, and gratuitous horror movie shock value crap. A plot with some potential, ruined.

Furthermore, I'm really tired of people being saved by surprise gunshots when they are about to be killed... weak action movie cliche garbage.

And why didn't that dumb broad just kill the captain with that knife, and make sure he was dead? ...oh yeah, because then they couldn't show awesome face ownage and drag on to the predictable "bad guy gets killed at the last minute but not before some hero/heroine delivers a scathing witty pre-trigger pulling insult" ending.

A couple scenes looked cool in bigscreen high-def, but this film still gets 1 thumb down and 1 middle finger.

I also felt let down by unnecessary face killings. I still felt the cliches criticised above worked well in the film and did not really spoil the film in any meaningful way. It wasn't like every character was a fucking puppet for Quentin Tarrantino's annoying voice mannerisms or anything.

I was probably a little harsh. I know the movie's not that bad but it just rubbed me the wrong way several times.

I just watched the movie tonight.
No. It wasn't the second coming. But it was a good film.
I felt for the characters. That's a good thing.
But I didn't feel too much. No tears. But I came a bit close a few times.
The little girl is good. But is shit at acting to the CGI.
Every time a fairy showed up on screen she was looking at the bagel cart.

Who wouldn't want to smash a Spaniards face in for poaching rabbits?
