Macbeth
Macbeth is the latest movie by Geoffrey "Romper Stomper" Wright. As you would guess, it's a modern-day adaption of Shakespear's play, set in the ganglands of Melbourne.
I think I'm swayed enough to go see this, if only to see some of the kids struggle with the dialogue.

Hrn, not really a fan of Mcbeth, but I do loves me some Willy S, and I'm always interested in who can and can't pull off adaptations. I reckon Wright would manage it pretty well.
Theres also a production of Anthony and Cleopatra playin in the UK at the moment with Patrick Stewart.

The best version of Macbeth I've ever seen
-- and the best piece of live performance, for that matter --
barely got through the first sixteen lines of text.
also-- I'm very tempted to see Stacey Keach as King Lear in my town.
