Patton hints at new FNM album..

Post by Alan Metcalfe »

"Faith No More have hinted that they could be about to start work on new material.

A tweet on the band's brand new, official Twitter account seems to suggest something is on the horizon and has sparked a flurry of excitement among fans.

The account's first ever tweet reads: "Hey! Stay tuned for more Tweets from Twats!!! The reunion thing was fun, but now it's time to get a little creative."

It was accompanied with a black and white selfie of frontman Mike Patton.

Faith No More reformed in 2009 after an 11-year hiatus, but Patton has previously strongly suggested that new material was not part of the plan.

They play London's Hype Park with Black Sabbath, Soundgarden and Motorhead on Friday, July 4.

Faith No More's last record was 1997's Album Of The Year."

All the new songs sound like a cheap version of Peeping Tom

i will wait before commenting , after all these are live versions , filmed by audience members , with "not the best audio" audio

usually it takes me a few listens to absorb anything good .

personally i am exited about the new material , but i think i may have enjoyed a b reunion quite a bit more , as far as a studio release anyway . fnm didnt play in our town so hopefully as new album will remedy that . in the meantime , i will be waiting patiently as i have been for a long time . never seen em live :(
the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.

chicago ... everytime they played here i either just missed em , or could not go for various bs reasons .

i am pretty selective about paying to see folks perform live , but i would have shelled out for fnm no problem .

on the upside , we just purchased four tix for belew at the end of the year ... hoping thats not his last solo tour , but it could be.

I'd be totally excited.

If it were new Fantomas material.
