I think he gave permission to Stephen Colbert to use the name Mos Def.
Everytime I see Yasiin Bey on Real Time with Bill Maher, I can never understand what he's saying. Kind of a mumbler. I'd say he's a religious left winger type. Progressive by name, but Conservative by religious constraint? Sounds like some shit that would keep me up all night with those conflicting beliefs. Cognitive Dissonance is what he should change his name to hahaha.
Also Yasiin was on the last season of Dexter and Gorillaz - Plastic Beach.
