Scratch Acid live last night :)
i spent almost the entire show watching David Wm. Sims's left hand.
and got sidetracked every once in a while by David Yow doing silly stuff.

My life just keeps getting better and better! Giovanni is taking me home for Christmas! That means I get to see family I haven't seen in over a year and Gio gets to meet them, finally. :)

No, he hates all three of his brothers. He hated his dad before he died too. His still talks to his mom, but they aren't close.

He wants me to move to Italy when we're ready to retire.

Do you know anyone who wants to rent a house in Itri? His is empty.

but..... you are not going to be with G by the time you are ready to "retire".
you will have moved on and hopefully made a change or two for the better. wait...
"ready to retire". is that hillbillian for "up'n ready tuh hit the sack"? (aka go to bed)

or... are we riding the golden palomino of truth here? the one that points out the fact
that hillbillies actually do retire early? you know, out of laziness. this is probably the point in
our conversation where you point out that your grandpap-paw worked until he was 103.
same goes fer yer grandmammy-maw who did the same. AND smoked lucky strike fiberglass blend
since she was knee-high to a spackler rat.

either way, I remain firm in my prediction.

Giovanni has a compound bow, but we didn't take it to North Carolina. He said it would be too hard for me to use because my arms aren't long enough. I have always wanted to use one though. I'm
already pretty good throwing a Hibben (sp?) knife.

My dad pushed up a mound of dirt/mud with the tractor and we used clay pigeons and paper targets. I wish I knew what guns we used. 2 were hand guns. One of those was a .45. Two were rifles. One was semi-automatic. I'll try to ask Giovanni later if I think about it.

I've never been close to my parents, so yesterday created a good memory of them for me to have. :)

ordered some amp modules , one from china . going to make this sweet stereo battery amp , with 6.5's in this ancient "capitol records" speaker box for my korg pandora . the other one is going as a booster on the diy bass amp . 30 watts for 18 bucks , not too shabby .

going to take a piss test for my pain clinic this morning , not a care in the world ... 8)
