Queens Of The Stone Age - Self Titled remaster.
Remaster of the first album out shortly. I missed out on the 7" of How To Handle A Rope/Avon (remaster).
Anyone else looking forward to this?

My brother asked me to go, but the way they tend to butcher their classic material since Lullabies tour I lost interest in them live.
Then I thought...fuck it, it's a night out and that five minute thinking process and indecision was about how long it took for every ticket on earth to sell out.

Have tickets to Kyuss next weekend, but I will probably give them away, and go skiing instead.
I can do backflips now.
So if anyone want a ticket to Kyuss in Bergen, Norway. Please let me know.

Was in Spiller's Records yesterday where they were sorting stock ready for Monday's release. They had the new QOTSA remaster CD and LP. Sounds very good, I can't see how they could have fucked it up really though. The man's ruin stuff they've stuck on merge seamlessly, they've done a good job it seems.
Both copies of the LP I ordered are due through, got shipping confirmation yesterday. Great stuff.

Wish I had the money to pick that shit up. Think it's still my fave of the QOTSA albums.
I do have the rated X vinyl though, which is pretty...well, pretty. Sounds very good though the record player I had when I was listening to it a bit, along with my treatment of it, probably reduced the quality somewhat.

Why copy of X do you have Mobi? Catalogue 000 000-0 or 490 864-1? I have the 490 864-1, but I'd love to get a hold of the misprinted one as well. I like those little kinks and oddities. </anorak>

Bonzai! bonus. I'm not sure if it's worth more but it's nice to have something with an unintentional fuck up on it.
