I love seeing inside people's houses.
my wife had heard about it , we watched it last night too .
the older lady was pretty awesome , the young pop hog chick was kinda a bitch . it really wasnt that bad yet , i mean i have seen worse . my old nieghber was really bad . boxs stacked perfectly to the ceiling . a tv in the bathroom hall to watch a show while on the pot . when he moved my brother helped him and said under his bed was jammed SOLID like a huge brick of empty ice cream containers . i guess he didnt want his mom to know he was eating all that . i helped him move his storage once , he had tons of boxs of movie scripts . one of them was titled "cartographers on the loose" .
we've been watching this for a couple weeks...good stuff. it's like Intervention except with way more interesting people. I think the 2 are done by the same people.
I can't get enough of The Colony.

The Colony is a controlled experiment to see exactly what it would take to survive and rebuild under the circumstances of a global catastrophe. For 10 weeks, a group of 10 volunteers, whose backgrounds and expertise represent a cross-section of modern society, are isolated in an urban environment outside Los Angeles and tasked with creating a livable society.
With no electricity from the grid, no running water and no communication with the outside world, all the volunteers have to work with are their skills and whatever tools and supplies they can scavenge from their surroundings
yes, there are obviously cameramen standing there...it is a tv show, but it's pretty well done. every week I realize more & more that if a serious catastrophe does happen I'll probably be dead within a month.
