Terminator Salvation....
Anyone looking forward to this? I really am.
Could easily be shithouse though...

the song doesn't do much for me
But Bale, Worthington and Ironside

Seems Linda Hamilton will be doing some narration at the beginning of the film. That's pretty cool.

I will never get tired of making fun of Bale for being such a whiny bitch.Rado wrote:Seems Linda Hamilton will be doing some narration at the beginning of the film. That's fuckin' distracting.

Re: Terminator Salvation....
Bale was so awesome in that whole scenario, your attempts to mock him appear as though you support him through idolising mimicry.

I loved T2 when it came out. I now find it incredibly tedious and unwatchable. It's no Die Hard.

Not to mention it makes no sense. Why wouldn't the T-1000 be sent back to the same exact timeframe as the first one, so it can back up the original one's play? Artificial intelligence my ass.Eviltoastman wrote:I loved T2 when it came out. I now find it incredibly tedious and unwatchable. It's no Die Hard.

Re: Terminator Salvation....
the whole time travel thing could be made a lot clearer if the movie would just stop to explain some limitations in the process
like, maybe it takes 40 metric tons of cadbury eggs to send one terminator back or something

Re: Terminator Salvation....
Interesting how a thread about time travelling movies, that we all saw when we were teenagers, has reduced us to talking like some.

I don't know too many teens that are into pointing out glaring plot holes.

Re: Terminator Salvation....
Dude I went mad discussing the Quantum mechanics of T1 and 2 when I was 15. My friends and I were obsessed with those films. The Rambam wrote:I don't know too many teens that are into pointing out glaring plot holes.
The timelines are fucked though. EMPIRE magazine tried to explain them: T1 almost makes sense, T2 contradicts it (especially the special edition, which states that Skynet/the nukes are prevented completely), T3 rips all the rules out for the sake of repeating the formula of 1 and 2, now Salvation is trying to distance itself from the first three and capture the future war, post-Judgement day anyway. And it may as well be a prequel, because it leads up to the events of T1!!!
AAAGH!
For the sake of your sanity, or not deriding each other in silly ways, do not discuss it. Just curse the script writers for getting us hooked!

If it was perfect, you're have not talked about it. It would have been even duller.
