saw Madagascar 2 tonight.

Sacha Baron Cohen, the penguins and monkeys are still top comedy. Much of the rest was horribly mulchy, although some good movie references and great one liners that would be easy to miss.
Saw a trailer for Monsters v Aliens which looked like fun.

they were playing this at the bar last night... and IMDB offers this interesting bit of trivia on it:
The story is allegedly inspired by Eugène Ionesco's allegorical play "Rhinoceros", in which citizens of a small French village inexplicably turn into the titular animals one by one. As a nod to this literary source, Robert Englund's character is named "Ian Essko".

Role Models - Really liked it. Jane Lynch made me cack myself quite a few times.
The Brood - Mutant children. Oliver Reed. It was OK.
The Changeling - Loved it! I was actually spooked in some parts. George C. Scott...awesome.
Teeth - :|

I haven't see that movie in ages - I remember it scared the bejayzus out of me. The banging from the attic...when you found out what it was...

strange how 'bland' and 'Jeremy Irons' often go hand in hand

Dead Ringers wasn't so bland....

That said, yeah, Appaloosa was kind of so-so. The humour in it was remarkable, though.

The Wrestlers. Rourke was magnificent. The film rocked apart from the hokey ending. Don't listen to those hater cunts in the other thread.

i thought it was a cheep ending but looking back i think it was perfect . i wont give any spoilers , but i think it was not open to interpitation , what logically would have happend happened , they just didnt show it on screen . seems to be a new gimmick these days . i havent seen too many roarke movies , but i think he was even better than sin city in this one . if you are looking for another rocky , dont watch this .

lol

i fell off my  lolling

Towelhead was really good considering it wasn't as advertised and from the same person that made American Beauty.

Also saw Mozart and the Whale which I <3ed

They didn't have Towelhead, so I saw this last night:

Some cool imagery, but kind of disappointing overall. Oliver Reed is great and Keith Moon...but the songs are unmemorable and after the first hour it gets boring.
