mmmm..... Steak....

I prefer rib eye done medium rare.... a little fat is essential for tasty steak... i dont understand u fillet eating snobs....

although if i do get served a nice fillet, its bleu all the way baby...

i like steak when its seared on the inside and warmed through... but rare enough that the meat doesnt bleed when u cut it... that is the perfect fillet...

rib eye cant be cooked like that thought cause it doesnt have the same texture... but... it is far tastier....

garlic salt is the best seasoning for steak.

and it should be grey or beige on the inside, not pink and definitely not red.

it depends on the cut... a crap cut of sirloin/scotch fillet needs to be med rare at least... a superior cut can be rarer... imo you should only ever cook a good cut of rib-eye bleu.

Skirt steak is extremely flavorful and streaked with fat, which makes it a juicy steak when properly cooked.
And of course it's the cut of choice for making fajitas!
Just make sure it's well marinated.

Flame-grilled medium rare Northern NSW rump steak( or T-Bone) with macadamia nut pesto and avocado....

Good Lord.....there IS a palatial heavenly embodiment....

The steak you get in cities (like Brisbane) is nothing compared to the gob-smackingly deliciously juicy meats you can buy at your local country butcher...

Plus it IS Australia, so yeah....=Best

But yeah, I love steak. I'd eat it every day if that wouldn't cause me to die...
