Pork

Post by Chantel »

So Australia, after being on a 'everybody eat lamb' phase, oh for the past decade or two has decided to up the hype about how great pork is.

I tend to agree. It's fantastic.

Especially with the new Pork Sauces range.

The Spiced Tomato sauce is awesome with pork leg steak cut into strips and accompanied by rocket dressed with olive oil and emon juice and a couple of tomatoes...

Recipe:

Buy the sauce from the supermarket.

Buy some pork.

Cut it into strips.

Heat the pan with a bit of oil.

Brown the pork.

Pour in sauce.

Let it come to a boil then turn down heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes

Put it on a plate and serve

I am not.
I am a vegetarian,
and my mother has been a pork opposer since my child hood.
The only meat I was exposed to as a kid, was the flying variety.

It's a man of warrior-poet status that can laugh off uncooked meat in the face.

My friend once slapped her husband with a cooked steak.
She was pregnant, if that gives her any "it's okay" points
and really mad that he wouldn't try a bite...

so she slapped him in the face with it.

I had pork yesterday and today too. It was with a taro root and the waitress inferred I probably would not like it not being Chinese.
