Dont get me wrong i love Bacon toasties
I also love Cheese toasties.
But when i combine the two it tastes horible. Does anybody care to explain why?

I cook it just before i make the toastie so it is still warm.

Try it raw. And/or perhaps switching to a milder cheese. I like mozarella with it. It's ace.

I wouldn't go to all the bother of having to cook the bacon just for a toastie.
I just use salami, cheese and sundried tomatoes.
Oh, and the thought of raw bacon makes me really ill.
